4. After treatment, avoid eating too cold, hot, spicy or sticky and hard food. During the treatment period, ensure rest and sleep, reduce smoking and limit alcohol, and avoid strenuous activities.
5. In case of special circumstances such as severe swelling and pain of the affected tooth and the loss of the sealing medicine, please contact the follow-up clinic in time.
6. During root canal treatment and after treatment, the fracture resistance of the tooth is reduced (especially the cracked tooth), and it is easy to split the tooth and lead to tooth extraction. Please avoid chewing hard objects with the affected teeth, and perform inlay and crown restoration in time according to the doctor's advice.
7. After root canal treatment, the body has a recovery and adaptation process. Some patients will feel uncomfortable in a short period of time. If the situation does not gradually worsen, follow-up can be observed.
8. The success rate of root canal treatment is generally 80% to 95%. It is indeed an incurable tooth, and the tooth must be extracted if necessary.
