Cleaning and maintenance of contra angle

 

Step 1 Clean the contra angle

1. Clean the surface of the contra angle with clean water, do not rinse the tail of the contra angle directly with water, too much water poured into the contra angle will cause damage to the bearings.

2. Use cotton wool soaked with alcohol to clean the contra angle. Do not use corrosive solutions containing glutaraldehyde, acetone, chloride, etc. to wipe and clean the surface of the contra angle, otherwise the surface coating will fall off or the surface will turn black.

Step 2 Inject oil into the contra angle

Prime with "Dental Handpiece Cleaning Lubricant":

1. Insert the grease nozzle into the lubricant nozzle (note that the rotation is fixed);

2. Insert the lubricant nozzle with the grease nozzle installed into the tail of the bending machine head;

3. Press down the oil filling gland for 2-3 seconds until clean oil seeps out from the head of the angled machine head.

 

Step 3 Clean the chuck (once a week)

Remove the file, insert the nozzle of the handpiece cleaning lubricant into the hole of the file and inject oil until clean oil flows out of the chuck.

Step 4 Packing and Disinfecting

Put the curved head into a high-temperature and high-pressure sterilization bag, seal it, and adjust it to 134°C for high-temperature and high-pressure sterilization.

The contra angle is a high-precision mechanical component. During the usual maintenance process, be careful not to bump or drop it, otherwise it will easily damage the bending head and make it unusable.

 

 

 

Troubleshooting

 

Fault 1  Abnormal noise and jamming occur during the operation of the curved machine head

 

Solution steps:

 

1. The handpiece head is not filled with oil, and there are too many impurities inside, which can be solved by filling oil;

 

2. Observe whether there are any problems such as bruises and dents on the position of the bending machine head. If so, please contact the manufacturer for maintenance;

 

3. If the bearing is damaged, please contact the manufacturer for repair;

 

4. If the gear is damaged, please contact the manufacturer for repair.

 

Fault 2: The curved machine head cannot hold the needle

 

Solution steps:

 

1. The spindle of the cartridge is damaged, please contact the manufacturer for repair;

 

2. If the pressing back cover of the handpiece head cannot spring up after being pressed, please contact the manufacturer for maintenance.
